We’re always experimenting. Some ideas may become permanent fixtures, others will be one-offs worth trying before stock runs out. Either way, you’ll hear about them here before they reach the shop.
What to Expect
New products and limited editions – This is where you’ll get the first look at what’s being tested out at Sussex Smokehouse as well as small-batch releases that won’t stick around forever.
Recipes – My suggested ways to cook with our smoked seasonings and ideas on how to incorporate our smoked nuts into dishes beyond snacking.
Suggested uses – Pairings, serving suggestions, and ideas we’ve tried that work.
Foraging and wild food – My part of West Sussex is blessed with an abundance of open space, woodlands and rural public footpaths. I’ll probably share some of the recipes I come up with using what I scavenge.
Behind the scenes – Get insights into the day-today runnings of our small, artisan smokehouse.
